Vet the reseller before you hand over the price list.

Resellers, distributors, MSPs and integration partners: registry, owners, sanctions, PEP and adverse media in one report, before you sign the partner agreement.

Software, IT and telecom vendors sell through partners they have often never met: resellers, distributors, MSPs, system integrators, telecom dealers. A partner gets your pricing, your leads and your brand. SONAR checks the company behind the application from public records in about three minutes: is it registered and active, who directs and owns it, is anyone on a sanctions or PEP list, and what has the press written about it. Every fact links to its source.

What you can check

Partner-programme applications

Screen every reseller or MSP application before approval, with the same checks each time instead of a quick web search.

Distributors in new countries

Registry lookups in 13 countries, plus GLEIF and VIES for EU VAT numbers, when you add a distributor in a new market.

The people behind the partner

Directors, and persons with significant control or beneficial owners where the register publishes them, each screened against sanctions and PEP.

Sanctions exposure in the channel

The company and every person found, against 8 sanctions lists, before you ship licences, hardware or services through a new partner.

Inside your partner portal

Run the same checks from your onboarding flow through the REST API, or let an AI agent run them through the MCP server.

One workspace per client

Consultancies and MSPs that screen on behalf of clients get one workspace per client on the Agency plan.

Sources in every report

  • 13 national business registries, plus GLEIF (LEI) and VIES (VAT)
  • Directors and owners, where the register publishes them
  • 8 sanctions lists and the OpenSanctions PEP dataset
  • The ICIJ Offshore Leaks database
  • 10 years of adverse media: fraud, sanctions, enforcement, insolvency

Example

An illustrative run: a reseller in the Netherlands applies to your partner programme. The report shows the company active at KVK, its VAT number valid in VIES, no sanctions or PEP match for the company or the people found, no ICIJ match and no adverse media. The headline is PASS, the receipts go in the partner file, and the application moves on the same day.
